He was the head of Incoming Tours at Orex. Having spent over 40 years in the world of tourism, he took over the inbound tourism department of Orex in 1970. Under his guidance the inbound department is growing from strength to strength.
Mr. Pragun Poddar

Pragun is heading the Travel division at Orient Express Travels & Tours for the last ten years. His experience in the travel and tourism industry has been invaluable in helping the company set a benchmark for tourism in India.
As a top-level tennis player, Pragun spent two years at the world-renowned tennis academy Nick Bolletieri in Florida and went on to attend university in the US on a tennis scholarship. He then completed his Masters in Tourism Administration with a specialisation in Tourism & Sports Management, from George Washington University, Washington DC. On returning to India, he worked as a management trainee with prestigious companies like Taj Hotels, British Airways, American Express, Morgan Stanley to name a few.
Pragun then became the first person in the third generation of the family to enter the family business.

A MBA, Manish is a store-house of new ideas. Creating new experiences and destinations is the area of expertise where Manish excels. The incentives department of the company is many shades richer with his repertoire at its disposal.
