Depart from various hotels in Bangkok to Bang-Pa-In and visit the former Summer Palace of the Rama Kings. Continue to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, and visit the ruins of Wat Yai Chaimongkol, Wat Mahathat and Wat Phanang Choeng. Continue to Lopburi. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Visit Prang Sam Yod and Phra Kan Shrine, also known as the Monkey temple.
Proceed to Phitsanuloke. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit the ancient city of Sukhothai, its Historical Park and the ruins at Sri Satchanalai. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Stop at a local village on the way.
Continue to Lampang. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit Wat Phathat Lampang Luang, one of the bestpreserved wooden buildings in Thailand and Wat Haripoonchai in Lampoon. Lunch en route at a local restaurant. Continue to the handicraft villages of Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng, which are the center of cotton industries, traditional local products, antiques from Burma and hill tribe handicrafts, hand-woven silk and cotton and wood carving. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit one of the most revered temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Doi Suthep, located high in the hills of Chiang Mai and enjoying panoramic views of the whole surrounding countryside. Return to lunch at the hotel. Afternoon at leisure with optional activities available locally.
In the evening enjoy a traditional Northern Kantoke dinner with various hill tribes shows and performances. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit an elephant training camp for a demonstration of elephant at work (elephant ride is optional and not included in this program). Lunch at a local restaurant. Take an exciting long tail boat trip from Pha Tai to Chang Rai and visit some of the hill tribe villages along the way. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Breakfast at hotel. Check out and visit a local hill tribe village and continue to the small trading town of Mae Sai. Proceed to visit the “Golden Triangle”, where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the historical city of Chiang Saen and transfer to Chiang Rai airport.
